MATLAB/Simulink for the energy sector: seminar

On the one hand this seminar demonstrated the use of MATLAB for data analysis, using information for the location of wind farms. Attendees were shown how to access and analyse data and the tools available for analysis, how to view them and finally how to create models based on them. On the other hand there was a demonstration of a photovoltaic system with its various components (panels, converters & electronic power & charge inverters), to the point of automatically generating code based on models from MATLAB/Simulink to PLC/PC platforms to implement control systems.



The seminar took place at the Hotel Carlton, at Plaza de Federico Moyua, 2 at Bilbao (Basque Country).
