Düsseldorf (Germany)
"During these three days (6-8 April 2007), we visited Düsseldorf. Düsseldorf is the capital city of the German Federal State of North Rhine-Westphalia and is located on the River Rhine.
We might see the Düsseldorf City Gate with its innovative building design, and integration and automation of a variety of associated technical systems. The control system for this innovative, energy-efficient building integrates products and open BAS (e.g., EIB/KNX system, the M-bus, LonWorks, and Ethernet TCP/IP).
Düsseldorf City Gate is able to integrate:
Düsseldorf City Gate is able to integrate:
- Electrical/mechanical building management. Incorporation of the EIB/KNX system for the control and monitoring of the electrical and shutter systems.
- M-bus (Metering-bus) network. A SQL database system generates and provides all relevant operating data, as well as analysis of this data, through easy-to-understand, table-based or graphic reports for the operations engineer. These reports are used for operating system checks and to detect areas of potential problems.
- Invoicing/general building management. Transfer of selected data to the centralized facility management system allows for real-time invoicing of tenants based on energy consumption, makes it possible to determine source-based cost allocations, and offers up-to-date space management, energy management, and maintenance management functionality."
